Reading your trend arrows

The value on screen is a sensor glucose estimate. Its arrow summarizes the recent direction and rate of change using product-defined bands. Tap through five common directions, then confirm the exact symbols in your current app and IFU.

Changing slowly

Recent sensor glucose values have changed little enough to fall within the product-defined steady band. Steady does not mean that the value is in your target range.

How to use it: Read the value and arrow together. Your targets and any response come from the plan agreed with your clinician.

Illustrative shape, about an hour of readings

The exact thresholds behind each arrow on your screen are defined by the Sibionics app and the official Instructions For Use, and treatment decisions always follow the plan you agreed with your care team. Never adjust medication from this page.

The five directions in plain text

Rising quickly

Recent sensor glucose values have been increasing at the faster rate represented by this symbol in the product app. It does not guarantee the next value.

How to use it: Consider the current value, arrow, symptoms, and your agreed care plan together. This page cannot turn an arrow into a dose or treatment instruction.

Rising

Recent sensor glucose values have been moving upward at the rate represented by this symbol in the product app.

How to use it: Note the surrounding context and recurring patterns for a later conversation with your care team. Do not infer a medicine change from this illustration.

Falling

Recent sensor glucose values have been moving downward at the rate represented by this symbol in the product app.

How to use it: Use the current value, symptoms, device guidance, and your agreed care plan. The arrow alone does not identify a cause.

Falling quickly

Recent sensor glucose values have been decreasing at the faster rate represented by this symbol in the product app. It is not a prediction with certainty.

How to use it: Follow the low-glucose plan agreed with your care team. If the reading does not match your symptoms or expectations, follow the IFU's blood glucose check instructions.
